A Case of Lymphoblastic Lymphoma

Abstract

|
|
Malignant lymphoma of convoluted lymphocytes was distinguished as a distinct
clinicopathologic entity by Barcos and Lukes. In the past, this tumor has been included
in the generic group of poorly differentiated lymphocytic lymphomas. Cytologically, the
neoplastic cells are similar to those of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and for that reason,
the term lymphoblastic lymphoma has been used.
Here is a case of lymphoblastic lymphoma, which was confirmed by clinical and
pathological findings and remitted completly with C.V.P. combination chemotherapy. It is
described with a review of the literature.
